21.11.2024 Heard Mr. A Khaleque, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Arjina Khatun, daughter of Shahjalal Ali Sheikh, resident of village Hariyarkuti, Police Station-Golakganj, District-Dhubri, is praying for her bail in Golakganj Police Station Case No. 149/2024, corresponding to G.R. No.721/2024, registered under Section Page No.# 2/2 22(c) of the NDPS Act, 1985, wherein, she was arrested on 25.05.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Golakganj P.S. Case No. 149/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 229/2024 dated 28.10.2024. 4) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum for her regular bail in said Golakganj P.S. Case No. 149/2024. 5) With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands closed.
