Bora, learned standing counsel, Health Department, has furnished an Educational Notice dated 01.10.2024, whereby the 2nd round Online Counselling has been re-scheduled. He has also produced the Seat Matrix for MBBS and BDS Courses in Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for 85% State Quota Seats for the Session-2024. In the Seat Matrix under the Special Categories, the admission procedure for admitting the Students from the Government Institutions as per Rule 5(1)(r) of the Admission Rules has also been provided. Mr. M. Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in view of the provisions inserted in the Seat Matrix for MBBS and BDS Course in the Page No.# 3/3 Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for 85% State Quota Seats for the Session-2024, the grievance of the petitioners has been redressed and the writ petition may, accordingly, be closed. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. The Educational Notice dated 01.10.2024 as well as the Seat Matrix for MBBS and BDS Courses in the Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for 85% State Quota Seats for the Session-2024, are placed on record.
