Tani Jongkey v. Tabang Siram and 2 Ors

ORDER Date : 18.12.2024 Heard Mr. Orin Modi, learned counsel for the petitioner.

The instant civil revision petition has been instituted by the petitioner, herein, assailing the decision, dated 06.05.2023, passed by the Tekang Bane Kebang.

The said decision passed by the village authority in terms of the provisions of the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Court Act, 2021(as amended), is appealable before the competent Civil Court, as provided therein, and this Court is, therefore, of the considered view that the instant civil revision petition is not maintainable.

In the above view of the matter; Mr. Modi, learned counsel for the petitioner, prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present proceeding with liberty to approach the appellate authority in the matter.

Prayer is accepted.

The civil revision petition, accordingly, stands dismissed on withdrawal, with liberty, as prayed for.
