The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to decide the application for scrutiny of Intermediate Examination-2024 dated 03.05.2024 as contained in Annexure No. 4 to this writ petition." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got good marks in the examination except some subject regarding which he has applied for scrutiny. The only prayer made by the petitioner is that a direction be issued to the respondent no. 2 to decide the application for scrutiny of Intermediate Examination-2024 dated 03.05.2024, within a definite period. Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the application for scrutiny of Intermediate Examination-2024 dated 03.05.2024, expeditiously in accordance with law.
