This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with prayer a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no. 2 to take a decision immediately for inclusion of the name of the petitioner in the Seniority List dated 7.4.2022 of the Head Constables for consideration of the promotion of the petitioner on the post of Sub Inspector for that the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee is going to be held in the last week of June, 2024 and the petitioner has already represented his case before the opposite party no. 2 vide Representation dated 14.6.2024. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he was selected for the post of constable and was promoted for the post of Head Constable on

14.12.2022, thereafter seniority list was prepared for making promotion for Sub-Inspector but in that seniority list, his name was missing regarding which he moved a representation on 14.6.2024 that is still pending and Departmental Promotion Committee is likely to be going on, therefore request to direct that authority to decide the representation first and then to make D.P.C. Learned C.S.C. has no objection in this regard regarding disposal of representation but request to let D.P.C. going on. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned C.S.C. respondent no. 2 is hereby directed to decide the representation moved by the petitioner dated
